Our club is based at the Tatoi Airforce Base, conveniently located in the northern suburbs of Athens. We also operate out of a private airfield in Kopais, 80 Km north of Athens, where cross-country flights take place. Come fly with us! For more information on arranging a trial flight press here. * * * Membership Membership is open to anyone interested in gliding. To join you will need to complete an application form, bring three id-size pictures and pay a fee of € 60. Annual membership is presently € 150.

Flight training In order to fly solo, the Greek CAA requires a student to join a flight training class. The duration of required training depends on the frequency of attendance and most students find they require anywhere from 4 to 10 months to reach solo standard. The total cost of training comes to around € 2,000. To join a flight training class you must complete an application form (available at our offices) and present the following:
* * * Young Eagles program The Athens Gliding Club, under the auspices of the international Young Eagles program, offers one free flight for every person of age between 8 to 18 years who would like to experience the magical sensation of flight. For more information, contact the club offices.
